Following the release of the Sobakov, adidas brings us another mash up of street style and soccer culture with the brand new Kamanda. Inspired by the casual style made prominent in 80s football culture, known as the "terrace movement," and based off an unreleased late 80s sample, the Kamanda looks to resurrect that aesthetic for 2018. Working with a pigskin upper in "Raw Desert" and a flowing outsole with a deep, aggressive tread, the Kamanda borrows heavily from adidas' best-selling Samba. Fans will recognize the perforated Three Stripes pattern and the gum outsole from that iconic pair. A hit of "Crystal White" on the flared heel and metallic gold branding at the side add some flair to some kicks that are heavy on earth tone vibes.
The adidas Kamanda "Raw Desert / Crystal White" is available in store and online. If you want to grab this pair in person, stop by and see us at 147 W 72nd ST on the Upper West Side in Manhattan.
