Beaverton continues the year-long celebration of 30 years of 1988s iconic Air Span II with this SE (special edition) release. Appreciated by Nike fans the world over, this year's re-releases have a silhouette nearly identical to the original while making use of some new, premium material options for the construction and utilizing the shoe's original features, such as its hidden Nike Air unit and foam outsole. This particular pair features an eye-catching print from artist Amanda Briggs on the tongue and continuing down onto the collar and interior. Briggs is a throwback name in terms of Nike collaborators, as she designed many landmark prints for the Swoosh in the 90s. Also of note on this pair is the emrboidered "Air Span II" branding towards the heel, done in red with a sort of hybrid punk rock graffiti font. All in all, a must for any collector or fan of 90s nostalgia.
